Why choose a denturist?
Denturists are trained in every aspect of denture fitting and fabrication, and they work directly with you throughout the entire process, from the first consultation to creating your dentures in the clinic.
How often should I replace my dentures?
Dentures should be replaced at least every 5 to 7 years and relined every 2 to 3 years.
What is the difference between full and partial dentures?
Full dentures serve those with no natural teeth. Partial dentures replace only the missing teeth, restoring your appearance while improving chewing and speech.
How long will it take to make my new dentures?
It generally takes 3 to 4 weeks to complete the steps, with several custom fitting appointments along the way.
Why do my upper and lower dentures fit differently?
The upper denture creates a seal on the roof of your mouth for stability. The lower denture shares space with your tongue and relies on the facial muscles for retention.
Why do my new dentures fit differently than my old dentures?
Your facial muscles adapted to your older dentures and need time to adjust to the new ones. We provide the adjustments you need throughout that transition.
How do I keep my dentures clean?
Rinse and brush them with a soft brush and mild soap after meals, and soak them overnight in a denture cleaner. Avoid toothpaste and bleach, which can damage dentures. If you are not sure which cleaner to use, call us and we will be glad to provide a free denture cleaning kit and instructions.
What is a digital impression?
A digital impression is a dental scan taken with 3D scanning technology. It is especially helpful for anyone with a sensitive gag reflex.
What is a digital denture?
Digital dentures are made using scanners, design software, and milling for enhanced accuracy and patient comfort.
What are your guarantees?
All new dentures come with a one year free adjustment guarantee and lifetime free cleaning.
